Caviar pricing in America has long been shaped by middlemen, legacy markups, and a culture of scarcity that doesn't always reflect reality. The result is a product that most people feel they have no business buying — reserved for anniversaries, expense accounts, and special occasions planned months in advance.

We think that's a shame. The experience of opening a tin of properly cured, sustainably farmed, expertly handled caviar is one of the most straightforward pleasures in food. It shouldn't require a special occasion or a budget set aside for it.

Atelier Loravia was founded to close that gap — to bring honest pricing, transparent sourcing, and next-day delivery to customers across the United States who simply want the real thing.

Provenance

How We Source

Our caviar comes from sustainable sturgeon farms in Poland, among the most carefully managed in the world. The farms operate under strict European aquaculture standards, with full traceability from egg to tin.

We work with a small number of farms — not dozens. That means we know every batch, we know the conditions, and we know what we're putting our name on. Species include Siberian Sturgeon (Baerri), Russian Sturgeon (Ossetra), Kaluga Hybrid, Beluga Hybrid, and Albino Beluga (Almas).

Craft

How We Cure

Curing is where caviar is made or broken. Ours is handled by Persian artisans whose families have worked with Caspian Sea sturgeon for generations. They use the malossol method — a light cure using Caspian Sea salt at a ratio that preserves the natural flavor of the egg without masking it.

Malossol means "little salt" in Russian. It is the gold standard of caviar preparation, and it is the only method we use. The result is a clean, mineral-forward flavor that lets the caviar speak for itself.

How We Ship

Every order ships overnight via temperature-controlled packaging designed to maintain the cold chain from our fulfillment centers to your door. Orders placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time are dispatched the same day.

Free shipping on all orders $300 and over. A flat $39 shipping fee applies to orders under $300.

We do not offer standard or economy shipping. Next-day overnight is the only option we trust, and it is the only one we offer.
